You'll want to take two * . . .
'Sweet Wheat'-they're smashing! So crisp and fresh and good to eat they scarcely seem to have left the oven. A lovely 'wheaty' taste, nourishing too. Might have been made by mother, made in fact, by Meredith & Drew. Only 10d (about 12 cents)? a packet.
CHOCOLATE WHOLEMEAL Half covered: milk or plain 1/51/2d. (about 20 cents)?  a packet
RICH TEA FINGER 11d. (about 13 cents)? a packet
'QUARTERED' CREAM CRACKERs To break without crumbs! 10d. (about 12 cents)? a packet

Besides biscuit "brainwaves" Meredith & Drew also make particularly good versions of the old favourites, amongst others, Chocolate Wholemeal, Rich Tea Finger, "Quartered" Cream Crackers and, for those who like a selection, Elizabethan Sweet Assortment.
if they're Meredith & Drew! You'll want to take two!

The average price of a new home then was $12400 about 2.48 times the yearly average wage of $5010. Which was about 2.28 times the price of a new car $2200. Today?
