There's nothing like bacon or ham for appetites sharpened by the fresh air. Nourishing, satisfying. Wonderful for all sorts of exciting picnic meals. And very quick and easy for you to prepare, too. 
What a delicious surprise when they open the lunch box ! Bacon pasties, perhaps, crisp and fresh. Or man-sized sandwiches of ham and cheese. Or bacon and sausage rolls, maybe. There's simply no end to the variety you can have with bacon.

THE ADVENTURES OF LOLLY LAMB

"like having picnics, Lolly," says Kipper Kitten. "Yes," agrees Lolly. "Let's stop at the top of this big hill"

"Hurrah! We're at the top now," Kipper shouts. .. Oh do look, here's a big stone. It would make a nice seat"

"I'm so hot after that climb," puffs Lolly. Kipper sits on the rock. .. This is comfy," he purrs. "Let's have tea, now"  

But oh dear. What's this? The rock rises up in the air. Poor Kipper falls right over backwards on the grass . . .
