BRADLEY CONTINUED
AS AN OUTDOORSMAN, Bradley likes to putter about his yard in casual clothes. Cannon is one of two old French guns which adorn lawn.
AS A GRAND FATHER, Bradley puts little "Hank" Beukema up on Kilroy, a horse kept at Fort Myer. The general has no horses of his own.
AS A HUNTER, Bradley gets out seldom but is fine shot. Here he cleans 20-gauge shotgun. Racked (top to bottom) are a Winchester 410, a Sauer 16 gauge and a Winchester 12.

THE GENERAL AND HIS LADY enjoy coffee in the sunny "glass porch" of their home at Fort Myer, Va. Mrs. Bradley has filled porch with plants, including African violets and a wandering Jew. High school sweethearts in Moberly, Mo., the Bradleys were married in 1916, a year after he graduated from West Point.
THE GENERAL AND HIS FAMILY spend a great deal of time together. The Bradleys' only child, Elizabeth, married Henry S. Beukema, now an Air Force captain, on June 8, 1944, two days after Bradley landed his D-day forces in Normandy. Holding model plane is his grandchild, Henry Jr. At left is Mrs. Bradley.
