Teething-time for Triplets
The mother of these lovely, healthy babies writes :-
" I have used your excellent ' Ovaltine ' Rusks for my fourteen-months-old Triplets since the day they started teething. They now have fine, strong white teeth and I am sure this is entirely due to your Rusks. I shall certainly recommend them to all the mothers I know and meet."
From teething-time onwards children should have 'Ovaitine' Rusks regularly every day. Crisp and crunchy, they help to bring teeth easily through the gums and to keep them sound and rdgularly spaced. They assist, too, in promoting the correct formation of the mouth. Made from the finest ingredients, 'Ovaitine'  Rusks are nourishing, delicious and easy to digest.

Carole Lesley
THE INCENDIARY BLONDE WHO'S BLAZING A TRAIL TO STARDOM
WHAT'S this girl Carole Lesley got that's taken her from behind a cash desk to top roles in British films? To find out, I called on Carole, at her exotic, flower-filled flat in the West End. Sultry, honey-haired Carole is as peppy as the hottest pop disc and as devastating on the eye as an atomic rocket. She played a film star in her first picture, but in her second "These Dangerous Years" she starred in her own right, opposite Frankie Vaughan. Now she has a 7-year contract to her credit and the Associated British Casting Director nominates her as one of the brightest finds in years.
Carole doesn't rely entirely on statistics! (though, looking at her hourglass figure- 35/20/36 -compressed into a slinky sheath, I found it hard to overlook them.) She's got real talent, plus a good deal of determination. She once ran away from home in her father's shirt with only 2/4d. (about 33cents) to her name because she wanted to dance. She joined the chorus of a show called "Stardust" and she's had a pretty dizzy time since-a blind date with a. Maharajah (she mistook champagne for cider), modelling, dancing in Paris and hitting the French highspots. CAROLE'S CONTRAST. Now Carole's settled down and takes her acting very seriously, but she's not above a smart gimmick. "I'm all for contrast," she said: " Take the steep plunge neckline everyone's wearing for evening. Well, I wear mine high ... with the plunge at the back. A little daring, perhaps, but different-like my special make-up toothpaste. It's Cosmetic-which not only gives a terrific polish but tints the gums rosy pink so that the teeth look twice as white. . . by contrast. Clever? It gives a wonderful effect before the cameras."
Despite a prize on Yakity Yak for the dumbest answer of all, Carole's no dumb blonde. She's a girl with a mind of her own-and she's set on world stardom. --- F. F.

The average price of a new home then was $12750 about 2.77 times the yearly average wage of $4600. Which was about 2.14 times the price of a new car $2150. Today?
