THIS attractive furniture is easy to make from plywood or blockboard.
It can be covered in any of the gaily coloured, laminated plastics, we used Formica.
Cutting both ply and plastic is simple to do with a saw, or the store which supplies the materials may cut it for you. The plastic sections should be cut slightly larger to allow for the trimming. To stick Formica to ply, you must use the special adhesive made for it.
--------------
1. TABLES FOR TV TIME

The lid is hinged in the middle to prevent the box over balancing, and there is a shelf inside to increase the storage space.

POPPIES ON YOUR TABLE
This poppy and corn design is actually in the plastic and will not wear off. The table top is 24 ins. in diameter and you need 4 sq. ft. of 5/8 inch ply or blackboard for a base. You can order the surfacing at a hardware store or there is one firm which will supply it cut to size with hardboard backing for 42s. 6d. (about $5.93), or with round ply base for 58s. 6d. (about $8.16)? The hardboard is useful as an under-surface on an old table.
