SMART Suzy- No.1
Our bright new
dressmaking expert, Smart Suzy, shares  her se hints with you
SUZY’S seams are smooth and true -and this is why. Says Suzy: "Seams are often spoilt when pressed. Marks from seam allowances show through on the right side. To prevent this place a strip of heavy paper or card under the seams; press as usual. Lapped or edge-stitched seams should not be pressed open, but use a strip of card to prevent a ridge. "
