THE "WINDY DAY" COLOURING COMPETITION
OH dear, what a windy day it was! Mr. Trotters and Mr. Winkle walked out in their best hats. "Here's a chance for a fine game," laughed the wind, and soon those grand hats were bowling about all over the street! Little Tommy Piper thought it was very funny to see the old gentlemen running about after their hats. The wind didn't bother him, because he hadn't got a hat! But he was a kind little boy really, and soon helped them to run after the hats and brush the dust off. "I think I'll leave my hat at home next windy day!" puffed Mr. Trotters. And Mr. Winkle agreed that this would be wise. Why not try to colour the picture of the runaway hats with your paints or crayons? Send it to us and you may win a prize. When it is coloured, paste it on a postcard with your name, age and address, and send it to : The "Windy Day" Colouring Competition, Children's Comer, 136, Long Acre, Lon- don, W.C.99. It must arrive not later than first post next Wednesday and be all your own work. Children of 14 or under may compete. The Editor's decision is final.
